Accessibility Statement
Conformance target
TaxKiln Australia targets WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Accessibility is treated as a release gate, not a polish task.
What's in place
- Semantic HTML (
header, main, nav, article, section, footer) - ARIA labelling on icon-only and interactive elements
- Keyboard navigation throughout — all interactive controls reachable and operable without a mouse
- Skip-to-content link as the first focusable element
- Glossary term hover-definitions accessible via keyboard focus (Radix Tooltip primitives)
- Calculator result cards announced via
aria-live="polite"regions - Sufficient colour contrast in both light and dark themes
- Responsive mobile layouts; tap targets ≥ 44×44 px
- Reduced-motion respect via
prefers-reduced-motion
